These terms govern wholesale orders placed through nagamine-seicha.co.jp. They also satisfy the disclosure requirements of Japan’s Specified Commercial Transactions Act (特定商取引法).

2. Products and prices

We offer a wholesale catalogue of Japanese tea and craft sparkling tea. Wholesale prices are quoted individually upon inquiry. All wholesale pricing is in US dollars (USD) and is FOB Yaizu unless otherwise agreed in writing. Samples are arranged individually based on inquiry; please contact us via the Contact form.

3. Additional charges

Shipping costs are quoted separately and confirmed before payment.

Customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees in the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility. We declare actual value on customs documentation; we do not under-declare.

4. Payment

Payment is processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We accept all major international credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB) and Apple Pay.

For wholesale orders, we accept bank wire transfer in USD or JPY. Bank details are provided with the wholesale invoice.

5. Order process and timing

For wholesale orders, lead time is typically 14–28 business days from order confirmation, depending on quantity, current production schedule, and seasonal harvest timing.

6. Geographic availability

We ship to most countries worldwide. Please contact us to confirm availability for your region before placing an order.

7. Acceptance of order

A submitted inquiry is not a binding order. The contract is formed when we confirm the order in writing and payment is completed.

8. Sample orders

Samples are arranged on a case-by-case basis after inquiry. Please contact us for availability and pricing. Sample fees may be credited toward a subsequent wholesale order; terms are confirmed at the time of the sample arrangement.

9. Returns and refunds

Detailed return and refund terms are provided on our Refund Policy page. In short: samples are non-returnable as a perishable food product, but we replace or refund any kit damaged in transit or with verified product defects.

10. Quality guarantee

All teas in our wholesale catalogue:

• Are sourced directly from named producers we work with personally
• Meet Japanese food safety standards (Food Sanitation Act)
• Meet US FDA Food Facility Registration requirements (UFI 693359960)
• Have lot-level reports available on request, depending on current test status

Our Okabe Yabukita matcha is additionally prepared for European Union pesticide residue review, depending on current test status.

11. Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, images, logos, the “Nagamine Seicha” name, the upper-mark crest, and the “bodhi” name and bottle design — is the property of Nagamine Seicha Co., Ltd. or its licensors. Wholesale buyers may use our product names and verified product information in their own retail materials with our consent.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of a sample or wholesale order is limited to the price you paid. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising from a wholesale order shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Shizuoka District Court, Japan, as the court of first instance.

Nothing in this clause limits any consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the bottom of this page reflects the current version. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page for at least 30 days.
